Senior Manager - FTS and V - Process-TOM
EY – GDS – Consulting – Finance
As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.
The Senior Manager will lead large-scale finance transformation engagements for global and regional clients, helping CFOs modernize finance operating models, processes, systems, and capabilities. This role combines strategic advisory, program leadership, and hands-on delivery, while also driving practice growth, developing talent, and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end finance transformation programs, including:
- Finance operating model design
- Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Finance shared services / Global Business Services (GBS)
- Finance digitalization, automation, and analytics
- Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance leadership.
- Oversee multi-workstream engagements, managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
- Translate business strategy into finance transformation roadmaps and business cases.
- Ensure delivery excellence and manage complex stakeholder environments.
Technology & Transformation Enablement
- Lead finance system implementations and enhancements (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance, Oracle, Workday, BlackLine).
- Drive adoption of digital finance solutions, including RPA, AI, advanced analytics, and cloud-based finance platforms.
- Collaborate with technology and data teams to ensure integrated solutions.
Practice & Business Development
- Contribute to go-to-market offerings, thought leadership, and proposal development.
- Lead pursuit teams and shape winning proposals for large finance transformation deals.
- Build and expand client accounts through cross-service collaboration.
- Stay current on finance, accounting, and technology trends impacting the CFO agenda.
People Leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across multiple engagements.
- Lead performance management, staffing, and capability building within the practice.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA).
- 10–15+ years of experience in consulting or industry finance roles, with significant experience in finance transformation.
- Proven experience leading large, complex transformation programs in a consulting environment.
- Deep knowledge of finance processes and CFO priorities.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing teams and developing future leaders.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Experience
- Big 4 or top-tier consulting experience.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and finance technology implementations.
- Experience in multiple industries (e.g., Financial Services, Consumer, Energy, Life Sciences).
- Track record of selling and delivering large, multi-year transformation programs.
