Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Consultant to play a key role in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-scale ERP solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who combines deep technical expertise with solution ownership and the ability to lead complex workstreams within large transformation programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, development, and solution implementation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
• Act as a senior technical contributor on F&SCM implementations, supporting Finance, Trade & Logistics, and Commerce functional areas.
• Participate across the ERP system lifecycle including analysis, solution design, development, integration, unit testing, and deployment.
• Design and develop solutions using X++, C#, SSRS, BI tools, and .NET in alignment with architectural and performance best practices.
• Create, refine, and review technical design documents, ensuring alignment with business requirements and D365 standards.
• Design and support data migration using DIXF, Atlas, third‑party tools, and custom frameworks, including AX to D365 migration scenarios.
• Develop and support integrations using OData, SOAP, REST, JSON, SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, and custom services.
• Support Azure-based solution components including Azure SQL and native Azure services.
• Work within Microsoft LCS for issue tracking, deployments, and solution governance.
• Support ALM, build, release, and environment management using Azure DevOps and defined deployment processes.
• Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolution of technical issues within D365 F&SCM environments.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders in onshore–offshore delivery models.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 F&SCM and AX 2012 technical development and customization.
• Proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, SSRS, and BI development.
• Solid understanding of ERP architecture, security models, and performance optimization.
• Experience in data migration, integrations, and cloud-based solution components.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models and continuous integration / deployment practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to solution quality.
• Ability to organize, estimate, prioritize, and deliver tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and project stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll also

The following capabilities are preferred and add value to the role:

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
• Exposure to Azure native services and cloud-first solution design
• Experience working on large, complex ERP transformation or modernization programs
• Familiarity with industry-specific ERP processes and best practices
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM or AX certifications

What we look for

• 5–8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and AX 2012 technical roles.
• Proven experience on multiple large-scale ERP implementations, including at least one end-to-end D365 F&SCM project.
• Strong understanding of integrations, data migration, ALM, and ERP security concepts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management
• (B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / MBA).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in global delivery teams.
• A hands-on, self-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
