The Opportunity

We are seeking a Functional Architect – D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Senior Manager to lead enterprise-wide ERP transformation programs and define functional strategy across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations domains. This role combines business transformation leadership, solution architecture, delivery governance, and people leadership to drive complex global implementations and deliver scalable, business-focused outcomes.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Define and govern enterprise-level functional architecture for Dynamics 365 F&SCM solutions across multiple programs.
  • Lead large-scale ERP transformation initiatives, aligning business objectives with industry-leading practices and Microsoft solution capabilities.
  • Drive end-to-end solution design across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Asset Management, and Project Operations domains.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to shape transformation roadmaps, operating models, and target-state business processes.
  • Provide leadership throughout solution envisioning, fit-gap analysis, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Govern functional design quality, solution standards, risk management, compliance, and delivery excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning functional, technical, integration, data migration, and testing workstreams.
  • Drive program planning, resource management, budget oversight, and delivery governance across complex global engagements.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing consulting teams while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on ERP strategy, business process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
  • Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and AX 2012 across Finance and Supply Chain business processes.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business processes including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Enterprise Asset Management, Manufacturing, and Inventory Management.
  • Proven ability to define functional architecture strategy and lead large-scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong experience in business process re-engineering, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of integrations, data migration, reporting, analytics, and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Experience managing global delivery teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, executive communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic problem-solving, governance, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing functional consulting teams.
  • Business-focused mindset with a strong focus on value realization and transformation outcomes..

 

Ideally, you’ll also  

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI).
  • Experience with Azure integration services and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern ERP delivery methodologies.
  • Strong exposure to data migration, master data governance, and reporting frameworks.
  • Functional certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience leading multi-country or global ERP transformation programs.
  • Using and authoring Copilot Studio Agents.

 

What we look for

  • 12+ years of total and relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and/or AX 2012 functional consulting, solution design, and implementation.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience leading large ERP programs, practice teams, or consulting organizations.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end D365 F&SCM implementations.
  • Experience in defining functional architecture, business transformation strategy, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage executive leadership and client sponsors.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
