Sub Competency: Sustainability

• In-depth Knowledge of IBM Envizi Platform: The candidate should have extensive experience with the IBM Envizi platform, including its functionality, features, and applications in various industries. They should be familiar with modules such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), energy management, sustainability, and resource optimization.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Expertise in leveraging IBM Envizi’s analytics capabilities to analyze environmental, social, and governance data. This includes interpreting complex data sets, producing meaningful insights, and presenting them to clients or internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Data Integration & Management: The ideal candidate will have experience integrating Envizi with various data sources (e.g., IoT devices, energy management systems, enterprise software, datawarehouse) and managing large datasets. Understanding how to handle, cleanse, and normalize data from diverse sources is essential.
• Technical Expertise in Cloud and SaaS Environments: Strong technical expertise in cloud technologies and SaaS platforms, especially in the context of IBM Envizi’s cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, security protocols, and best practices for implementing solutions in a cloud-native environment.
• Customization and Configuration Skills: Proficiency in customizing and configuring IBM Envizi ESG frameworks according to specific client requirements. This includes developing dashboards, reports, workflows, and business rules, forms within the platform, ensuring it aligns with business goals and KPIs.
• Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, data engineers, and project managers. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of any 1 industry that IBM Envizi serves, such as manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and finance. This includes awareness of industry-specific sustainability challenges, regulations, and best practices.
• Project Management Expertise: Experience managing and executing end-to-end implementation of IBM Envizi projects. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, managing timelines, resources, and budgets, as well as providing guidance to junior team members.
• Experience with Reporting and Compliance: The candidate should be skilled in reporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics and managing compliance reporting. They should be familiar with global sustainability frameworks, such as GRI, CDP, and SASB, and know how to incorporate them into Envizi solutions.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation: A mindset focused on continuous improvement, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in sustainability, environmental data management, and IBM Envizi’s evolving features. The expert should actively seek innovative solutions and enhance the platform’s capabilities based on emerging technologies.
