Job Title: Senior Manager: IT Infrastructure & Networks: Strategy & Business Development
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Business Growth Lead to drive business development initiatives in the IT Infrastructure, Networks & EUC domains. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in IT services business development, expansion and a proven ability to expand business across designated global regions. Key focus areas include IT Infrastructure Services, Network Solutions, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), Digital Workplace, and IT Service Management (ITSM).
This role requires proactive engagement with regional partners, managing client relationships through partner ecosystems, and close collaboration with global delivery, solutioning, and sales teams. The successful candidate will lead consultative sales engagements, shape go-to-market strategies, and deliver innovative, outcome-driven solutions. A strong track record in technology advisory, consulting, and program delivery services is essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within a specific region.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to ensure regional market penetration and growth.
- Engage with regional Partner firms to understand their business needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions that align with our service offerings.
- Communicate effectively the value proposition through proposals and presentations, ensuring a clear understanding of our services' benefits.
- Engage as a pre-sale's professional and structure / stitch the entire solution based on diverse set of Infra and Network offerings
- Analyze regional market trends and competitive dynamics, providing insights to inform strategic decisions and sales tactics.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities in emerging markets and adapt strategies to respond to market shifts and new product developments.
- Actively engage in deal pursuits, negotiations and ability to assist Partners in closing deals with customers, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
- Liaise with the technical team to guarantee successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Offer strategic feedback to practice leadership regarding market intelligence, potential threats, customer feedback, and opportunities for delivering greater value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or a related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree from reputed institutes like IIM’s, ISB etc.
- Around 12-15 years of experience in technical business development & sales with a preference for IT services.
- Good technical experience in IT infrastructure, Network and Cloud services.
- Should have good experience in selling IT advisory and consulting services.
- Experience in developing and IT Consulting Services business deals valued at $ 20 million to $100 million.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence & interact at the executive and C-level.
- Strong negotiation skills and a history of successful contract closures.
- Experience in creating client-focused solutions that are both differentiated and achievable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
