DE NCLC Senior – Technology Consulting 

EY GDS Consulting Digital is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Consultant with strong capabilities in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft 365 migrations and Nintex. The resource will be part of the Enterprise Content Management and Modern Workplace team, delivering solutions to clients across regions.

The opportunity

We are looking for professionals with expertise in Microsoft 365 consulting, migration and modernization to join our AI Workforce Consulting team. This is an opportunity to contribute to large transformation programs while supporting the growth of our Microsoft 365 service offerings.

Your key responsibilities

• Work with client and project teams to understand business requirements, current-state environments and modernization objectives.
• Design and deliver SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions using SPFx, Microsoft Graph, PnP and PowerShell.
• Plan and execute Microsoft 365 migrations, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams workloads, with appropriate assessment, remediation, testing and cutover activities.
• Assess and modernize Nintex workflows and forms, including Nintex for SharePoint and Nintex Automation Cloud.
• Prepare technical designs, migration plans, mapping documents, test scripts, deployment guides and operational handover documentation.
• Troubleshoot migration, workflow, solution and integration issues, escalating risks and dependencies when required.
• Ensure deliverables comply with project standards, security requirements, governance processes and technical design principles.
• Support estimates, solution demonstrations, proof of concepts and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Develop reusable assets, accelerators and best practices for Microsoft 365 migration and modernization engagements.
• Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Skills and attributes 

• 5-8 years of relevant technology consulting experience, including substantial experience in Microsoft 365, SharePoint migration or modernization.
• Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), TypeScript, React, Fluent UI, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Good knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, information architecture, permissions, content types, site designs and governance concepts.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 migrations covering SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams, including discovery, assessment, remediation, migration execution, validation and cutover.
• Hands-on or solution oversight experience with migration tools such as ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, SharePoint Migration Tool or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of Nintex Workflow, Nintex Forms and Nintex Automation Cloud, with experience in workflow and forms modernization.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, and the ability to guide target-platform decisions.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience developing migration and modernization accelerators.

Good to have Skills

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio or AI automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, permissions, Purview, security and compliance.
• Experience with tenant-to-tenant, acquisition, divestiture or hybrid migrations.
• Knowledge of Azure services, integrations, Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant Microsoft 365, SharePoint, migration or modernization experience.
• Demonstrable hands-on expertise in SPFx and Microsoft 365 migration delivery.
• Practical experience with Nintex workflows and forms.
• Strong consulting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in a professional services or consulting organization.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and translate complex requirements into manageable deliverables.
• Ability to operate independently with minimum supervision and support junior team members
