The opportunity
You will help clients determine the best way to design and develop state of the art applications to optimize business processes leveraging Pega Development platform.
Your key responsibilities
- Work effectively as a team lead, share responsibility, provide support, maintain communication and update managers on progress of tasks
- Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on increasingly complex assignments
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client/onsite personnel
- Ensure on-time delivery of allocated tasks
- Prepare project documentation and procedures
- Understanding and adherence of software development life cycle & defect life cycle.
- Assist in development / testing of complex modules
- Participate in go/no go decisions on production implementations of new and modified software, based on project quality
- Prioritize workload and balance/escalate conflicting demands in order to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved.
- Building of Technical/Industry specific Assets and Accelerators
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills along with experience in producing high quality reports and presentations as needed
- Experience as Pega Business Architect with strong consulting background.
- Basic knowledge on Pega Frameworks such as CDH, CLM, SD, CPM, CRM etc…
- Plan and conduct DCO workshops independently with customer stakeholders preferably using App Studio to understand requirements
- Translate business requirements into system features and transfer knowledge to Development and QA teams
- Analyze business processes with ability to challenge business users (as applicable)
- Conduct Show and Tell sessions with business users
- Prepare functional use cases and other requirement artifacts
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and represent business team
- Experience on multiple Pega applications/ frameworks
- Experience in a particular domain is preferred
- Experience of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and disciplines preferably within a multi-vendor environment.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Total 4-7 years of BA experience out of which at least 3-4 years of Pega Business Architect experience
- Should have handled/supported at least 2-3 end to end Pega project implementations
- Experience of working in an Agile, Lean, Six Sigma environment would be desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to build effective teams that leverage different skill-sets and perspectives.
- Customer focused - able to see when the process is getting in the way of the customer experience.
- Familiar with tools like JIRA, Agile Studio etc.Should cross skill and cross train as per the business requirements.
- Knowledge of Pega Best Practices & Guardrails
- Working knowledge of project implementation methodologies
- Estimation techniques – RFP and Scrum level
- PCBA/CPBA certification from Pegasystems
Ideally, you should also have
- B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MCA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Big 4 or panelled SI/ ITeS companies
- Knowledge on Release Management concepts & Pega Deployment Manager
- Demonstrated track record with a blue-chip consulting organization and/or a blue-chip organization
- Familiar with Project Quality Management aspects / Quality Analyst
- Certified Scrum Master or any other certification from Pegasystems
