JD for Product Management

Job purpose:

Core Banking Techno Functional Professionals with expertise and prior work experience on one or more of Banking areas (any of the below)

  • Retail Banking: Deposits, Loans, Cash, Collections, Payments, Forex, Trade Finance, Liquidity Management, KYC
  • Cap Mkts: fixed income, equity, derivatives, trading, Front/middle/back office, compliance, KYC, AML
  • Digital Banking - Internet Banking / Mobile Banking: Mobile, Web, Omni channel, Call centre, IVR
  • Lending (Securitized, Unsecure, Mortgages)
  • Payments and Cards – Payment networks, Switch
  • Regulatory and Compliance
  • Technical experience of working on defining banks solution and technology architecture, interfaces specification and data model mapping, process workflow tools, API tools such as Apigee is preferred.
  • Expertise in assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it

 

Working experience and Knowledge in at least one of the CBS is mandatory : Finacle, Temenos T24, FIS MBP / Profile, Mambu, Finastra, Fiserv, Backbase, Thought Machine, FinTech OS, Misys, Oracle.

 

Your client responsibilities:

  • Need to work as a team lead in one or more Core Banking Implementation projects
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Should be able to drive and lead the Planning, Training, Migration & Testing phase of the project
  • Should be ready to travel to customers locations on need basis (after pandemic)
  • Should exhibit the deep experience in Banking during the client discussions and be able to convince the client for the solution
  • Resolving technical problems as they arise, providing supervision and guidance to development teams.

  • Knowledge of databases, infrastructure, application servers, Technical Architecture, Security and Performance management

 

Expertise in writing integration specifications and knowledge of Soap or Rest APIs, understanding of the banking solution and technology architecture including data models and structure. Data mapping – process flow development, review client processes and workflows and make recommendations to the client. Understanding of evolving banking technology landscape (Microservices, Cloud, Devops, RPA (Automation) etc. Other skills include Effort Estimation, Pre-sales support, engagement Assessments, Project planning, Conduct Training for clients/Internal staff.

Working knowledge in any Product development platforms covering the entire product SDLC phases is preferred.

Implementation experience / customer facing experience for Banking Product Implementation is preferred.

 

Functional:

  • Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and gap analysis in Banking areas defined above
  • Documenting epics and user stories for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Exposure in conducting or participating in product demonstration, training, and assessment studies.
  • Analytical thinking in finding out of the box solutions with an ability to provide customization approach and configuration mapping
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Should be able to review the test cases and guide the testing team on need basis
  • End to end banking implementation and transformation experience
  • Having experience in functional aspects of any Core Banking/Digital Banking/mobile Banking Solution (COTS or custom) will be an added advantage

 

Education and experience – Mandatory

  • MBA/ MCA/ BE/ BTech or equivalent with banking industry experience of 5 to 15 years
