To achieve this, we are seeking a Business Consultant to join our growing Business Consulting team to work on leading business and technology transformation engagements locally and abroad. Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize business architecture transformation strategies to enhance organizational structure and operations, aligning them with goals to drive long-term value.
• Design and refine business and operating models to ensure alignment with organizational goals, enhancing business performance.
• Participate in client workshops to understand business processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiency, digital enablement, and improved customer experience.
• Design optimized business processes/workflows to improve agility, performance, and service delivery.
• Participate in technology driven transformation engagements to ensure alignment of technology / automation delivery to business objectives and requirements.
• Support clients in navigating regulatory changes, market pressures, and evolving business landscapes.
• Contribute to government transformation programs, supporting the restructuring of ministries, agencies, and public service functions to improve efficiency, modernize operations, and drive institutional transformation.
• Develop governance models to support institutional reform, regulatory compliance, and strategic policy implementation.
• Contribute to the redesign of public service delivery models to ensure efficiency, citizen-centric services, and technology-enabled public services.
• Design and implement experience design frameworks to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive quality, identify best practices, and share knowledge across the organization.
• Prepare high-quality reports for clients, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
• Create presentation decks for client pitching, showcasing solutions and strategies.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational capabilities.

To qualify for the role, you should have:

• A university degree.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in business consulting, transformation projects, or related roles.
• Ability to analyse and document complex business processes.
• Ability to map business requirements to functional requirements for technology solution delivery
• Analytical mind set; critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct research and development and solve problems independently.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audience.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English languages.

Ideally you should also have:

• A postgraduate degree in a business studies related field will be considered an advantage.
• A professional certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working for public sector entities transformation will be considered an advantage.
