We are looking for a highly experienced Senior ABAP Developer to join the EY Advisory Team on a subcontracting basis. This role is offered as a fixed-term 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension to another 6 months.

Key responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and deliver robust technical solutions using ABAP within the SAP environment 

• Lead the development and customization of SAP applications, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) 

• Perform advanced unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions 

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and system documentation 

• Support and contribute to SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, providing expert-level troubleshooting and technical guidance 

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems 

• Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to less experienced developers when required 

Required qualifications 

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field 

• Minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in ABAP development 

• Strong and in-depth understanding of SAP architecture, development standards, and best practices 

• Solid experience with debugging, performance tuning, and complex ABAP developments 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment

It will be a plus if you have 

• Experience with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or other modern SAP technologies 

• SAP ABAP certification or other relevant SAP certifications 

• Prior experience working in consulting or professional services environments
