At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.  Join EY and help to build a better working world.

Are you ready to shape the future with confidence?

Whether you’re graduating soon, recently graduated, or starting out as a junior consultant, you won’t just find opportunities here, you will shape them.

  1. Why start your career in EY Risk Consulting?

Consulting at EY goes beyond what many people traditionally associate with a Big 4 firm. As part of our Consulting team, you’ll work with organisations to solve complex business and technology challenges, helping them grow, transform, and adapt in a rapidly changing world.

At EY, your career in Risk Consulting is just the beginning. You’ll have the opportunity to build a career as unique as you are from day one, supported by EY’s global scale, inclusive culture, and innovative AI-driven technology. From your first day, you’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas, curiosity, and perspective; helping organizations strengthen governance, enhance controls, navigate regulatory change, and build more resilient and trusted operations.

In today’s fast‑moving and uncertain environment, risk is at the centre of every major decision. From financial risk and regulatory compliance to digital, technology and AI risk, organizations are continuously challenged to adapt. If you’re motivated, eager to learn, and ready to take your first step into consulting, we’d love to hear from you.

Start earlier. Grow faster.

From day one, you’ll work on real client challenges not from the sidelines, but as part of the team delivering outcomes. You’ll help organisations navigate complex risk environments, strengthen controls, and respond to regulatory and operational challenges, seeing the impact of your work firsthand, faster than in most traditional career paths.

Build real experience, not just skills.

You’ll work across different industries, clients and projects, gaining exposure to a wide range of risk areas from internal audit and compliance to digital, technology and AI risk. You will build hands-on experience of how data, analytics and emerging technologies are used to manage and mitigate risk in real business environments, helping you develop strong commercial awareness and a risk-focused consulting mindset.

Accelerate your career.

With early responsibility, hands-on experience, and structured development, you’ll build confidence and capability at pace. Supported by experienced teams and continuous learning, you’ll quickly develop the technical and professional skills needed to support clients in managing risk, improving governance, and enhancing resilience.

Be yourself. Make it matter.

The best workplaces are those where you can be yourself. That’s why our teams place a big focus on inclusivity. We’re always open to challenge and change – and we know we can always be better. You’ll play a big part in building a better working world for us and our clients – pushing us into a future we can be proud of.

A training path to support you.

From day one, you’ll combine real client work with structured development, building your technical and consulting skills across areas like risk, controls, compliance and digital/AI risk. You’ll have the option to pursue a professional qualification while gaining hands-on experience on client projects.

Our approach combines work and structured learning, including classroom sessions, online training and self‑study. Balancing study with project work can be challenging, but you’ll be supported throughout. You’ll learn alongside your cohort, building strong relationships, while experienced teams guide you at every step.
