To achieve this, we are seeking a Mobile Native Developer - iOS to join our Technology Transformation Consulting practice. Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

Your Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize complex iOS application features using Swift, SwiftUI, and/or UIKit.

Contribute to and evolve the app architecture (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture) for scalability, modularization, and maintainability.

Integrate the application with backend services using REST APIs and ensure strong API contract alignment.

Troubleshoot, debug, and oversee performance improvements using profiling tools.

Implement and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests to strengthen overall application quality.

Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including automated builds, testing, signing, and distribution.

Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Ensure security best practices, data protection, and compliance with platform standards.

Use AI coding agents workflows responsibly to accelerate development while ensuring quality and correctness.

Collaborate across teams (QA, backend, design, product) to ensure smooth delivery.
Required Qualifications
-
4–7 years of hands‑on iOS development building production mobile apps.

Strong proficiency in Swift, with practical experience in SwiftUI or UIKit.

Strong knowledge of iOS SDKs, Xcode, profiling tools, and mobile lifecycle considerations.

Experience integrating REST APIs, managing tokens securely, and working with JSON.

Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and code quality tooling.

Ability to responsibly use AI‑assisted development tools (coding, test generation, documentation).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Skills and attributes for success

Strong understanding of architectural patterns and ability to contribute to system design.

Ability to effectively mentor junior developers and support team‑level technical decisions.

Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and analytical skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to integrate AI suggestions safely, ensuring robust, maintainable, and secure code.
Ideally you should also have

Experience with XCTest, snapshot testing, UI test frameworks.

Familiarity with iOS security, keychain, authentication patterns.

Experience with cloud‑connected features, reactive programming, or Swift Concurrency.

Exposure to AI‑assisted debugging or code‑analysis tools.
