The opportunity 

 As a Junior Wordpress Developer, you will play a key role in driving the design and implementation of digital-transformation solutions for our clients. Your knowledge and hands-on experience with WordPress and PHP development will enable you to create cloud-native, scalable, robust, and efficient web presence  for our clients in diverse industries. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. Our mission is to empower businesses to streamline their processes, increase operational efficiency, and drive growth through cutting-edge technologies. This is a position that requires robust technical capabilities, team spirit, and a customer-centric mindset. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop WordPress themes and templates. 

• Work on both front-end and back-end WordPress development and customization. 

• Implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements. 

• Ensure website responsiveness, compatibility, and accessibility across various devices. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress platform and website technical issues and incidents with senior developers and other team members. 

• Optimize website performance and load time. 

• Implement security-by-design measures to protect websites from cyber threats. 

• Support and advise content owners and editors on creating site data and content as needed. 

• Contribute to the design and development of web pages and user interfaces. 

Skill Requirements: 

• A foundation in web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. 

• Experience with WordPress development and administration. 

• Understanding of UX/UI design concepts. 

• Experience with testing and troubleshooting websites. 

• Knowledge of standard software development concepts, practices, and procedures. 

• Knowledge of running web applications on Azure is an advantage. 

• Basic understanding of SEO principles. 

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
