The Opportunity

 

As Head of Brand, Marketing & Communications, you will provide strategic leadership and direction across all BMC activities in Cyprus, ensuring strong alignment with EY’s global and regional strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping the firm’s market presence, reputation, and stakeholder engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Set the strategic direction for the local BMC function, aligned with EY global and regional priorities.
  • Lead integrated brand, marketing, communications and reputation strategies.
  • Act as senior advisor to leadership on market positioning and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee internal and external communications, media relations and issues management.
  • Partner with service lines and sectors to support growth initiatives.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing BMC team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep EY at the forefront of brand and marketing innovation.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and compliance with EY’s brand guidelines across all channels and markets.
  • Adopt new ideas and technology to enable impactful audience-centric communications and engagement.
  • Leverage data, analytics and insights to measure impact and continuously improve.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Strong strategic and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate business priorities into impactful brand, marketing, and communications strategies.
  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions through insight, judgment, and executive presence.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, including the ability to design, oversee, and optimize integrated digital strategies across web, social, content, email, and paid channels.
  • Strong experience in optimizing a company’s overall web presence, including website strategy, user experience, content effectiveness, SEO considerations, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent understanding of integrated brand, marketing, and communications disciplines, including digital, content, campaigns, events, and reputation management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working across service lines, sectors, and geographies in a matrix environment.
  • Strong leadership capability, with a track record of building, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and levels of seniority.
  • An agile, forward-looking approach, with curiosity for emerging trends, technologies, and innovative ways of engaging audiences.
  • Strong analytical orientation, with the ability to use data, insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in brand, marketing, and/or communications roles, ideally within professional services or complex B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated brand, marketing, and communications strategies, from planning through execution and measurement.
  • Demonstrated strong experience in digital marketing, including ownership of digital strategy, campaign execution, and performance optimization across multiple channels.
  • Proven experience in managing and continuously improving an organisation’s web presence, including website strategy, content governance, digital user journeys, and effectiveness measurement.
  • Proven leadership experience, including team development, performance management, and capability building.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, working closely with senior leaders and business teams to support growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including content, analytics, social media, paid media, email, and web platforms, with the ability to demonstrate impact and ROI.
  • Experience using marketing analytics and performance measurement to demonstrate ROI and inform strategic decisions.
  • Working knowledge of relevant tools and platforms, including:
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Digital and web platforms
    • Marketing analytics and reporting tools
    • Email marketing platforms
    • Paid media tools (e.g. Google Ads)
