About the Role
As a Senior Manager in EY’s Financial Services Risk Management practice, you will lead and deliver integrated risk management and regulatory consulting services to clients in banking, capital markets, insurance, and asset management sectors. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement risk frameworks that drive business performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead client engagements focused on enterprise risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and compliance risk management.

Develop and enhance risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Provide strategic advice on risk identification, measurement, mitigation, and monitoring to support clients’ business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory compliance and quantitative services to deliver integrated solutions.

Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging risks impacting the financial services industry.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for expanding EY’s risk management services.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA, CPA) preferred.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in risk management or regulatory consulting within financial services, preferably with exposure to banking sector.

Deep knowledge of enterprise risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and compliance risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience leading complex risk management projects and managing client relationships.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Experience working in a global or matrixed environment is an advantage.

Familiarity with digital transformation impacts on risk and regulatory functions is a plus.
