To achieve this, we are seeking for Data Scientist to join our Transformation Realized™ Consulting practice. Our team is part of EY’s Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) cluster, delivering market leading services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally.

Your Key Responsibilities

Design and develop AI models as well as formulating associated algorithms and rules.

Obtain, analyse and understand AI models training data.

Clean data and validate its completeness and correctness.

Preprocess data using programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, etc.

Compute features and tune parameters to improve the quality of the model in an iterative manner.

Evaluate alternative solutions options and present recommendations to the project stakeholders.

Closely coordinate and communicate with project manager advising them on matters relating to the delivery of the data science.

Work with a broad spectrum of client business and technical stakeholders.

Train & enable clients on the use of the delivered AI solutions.

Contribute to the practice development of the organization.
To qualify for the role, you should have
-
Between 1 to 7 relevant years of experience as a Data Scientist.

MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related field.

Proficient in Machine Learning (training and testing, avoiding overfit, feature engineering etc.).

Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop and related.

Proficiency in bash, Python and either Java or Scala.

Knowledge of statistics or data visualization is a plus.

Knowledge of tree-based algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, LGBM) is a plus.

Knowledge of Deep Learning algorithms is a plus.

Analytical mindset: critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources.

Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audience.

Customer-facing attitude
Ideally you should also have
