Brand, Marketing and Communications Senior Associate

 

Our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team is undergoing a positive and exciting change. As we expand and improve our services, there are always new stories to tell. To help us drive this change, we are looking for a BMC Senior Associate with focus on Event Management, who will contribute to shaping, implementing and delivering our marketing strategy. You will be joining a dynamic team that is determined to deliver top-class service to our clients, internally and externally.

The BMC team has an ambitious plan to accelerate and unlock the power of this purpose both inside and outside the organization so that the brand becomes a more potent driving force toward EY’s growth ambitions. We have a new opportunity for a BMC Senior Associate who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of corporate events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and client engagement activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

 

Key responsibilities of the role

 

  • Plan and execute corporate events from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with EY’s brand and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event goals and requirements.
  • Develop event budgets, manage expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Identify and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure services and materials.
  • Coordinate logistics, including catering, transportation, audiovisual needs, branding, gifts and on-site management.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for the development of event websites and invitation lists.
  • Create event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Monitor event progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event experiences.
  • Support other BMC initiatives as required.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning or project management, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed for events.
