The Opportunity: 

 

Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is growing and is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our growing team of Finance and Business advisors.

Our FAAS team is responsible for assisting clients by addressing the CFO’s agenda and providing CFOs, CROs, Treasurers and Board committees in the financial services sector (mainly banking and insurance) with support on various emerging topics and regulatory requests, such as:

 

  • Support with the implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, CRD IV/CRR, stress testing, Recovery and Resolution Planning under BRRD II, MiFID etc.)
  • Providing valuable insights on regulatory trends and standards including implications of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Services to support with strategy, financial, regulatory matters such as adherence to regulations, Banking supervision etc.
  • Services to transform the finance and other relevant functions in order to enable better decision-making and derive more robust and relevant information from their organizations
  • Robust financial and non-financial data analytics and innovation to support functions evolve
  • Assistance in the identification, analysis and understanding of issues in the areas of risk and capital and liquidity management.
  • Support in developing and bringing forward the FAAS Technology, Digital and Innovation Agenda.

To qualify, candidates should have:

 

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree from a reputable University, in fields such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Strategy, Business Administration, Risk Management, Mathematics or any other related disciplines.
  • Holder of a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CFA).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with clients in the financial services sector – preferably in in consulting/advisory roles pertaining to the banking industry.
  • Good understanding of the banking regulatory framework as well as emerging trends in the banking sector.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, if this is considered necessary.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Greek and English Language, both verbal and written.
