Analyst - Real Estate Advisory team - Strategy and Transactions

The Strategy and Transactions team guides clients to make better, more informed decisions as they buy, sell, separate, integrate, reshape, restructure or rethink their business strategy. We help our clients by providing advice on all aspects of transactions, from inception to execution and completion.

The opportunity

The Strategy and Transactions (SaT) team of EY Cyprus is looking to recruit an Analyst in the Real Estate Advisory team to work with a high-performing, integrated team which focuses on real estate transactions, providing advice to high calibre clients in challenging and interesting projects. Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate and assist in real estate advisory engagements, including:
  • Asset and project valuations
  • Market research
  • Business plan and feasibility study assessments, highest & best use studies
  • Strategic planning relating to property transactions and transaction support
  • Preparation of investor materials and capital raising
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with the client;
• Leverage on and develop internal and external networks through personal contacts;
• Build strong internal relationships with members of the SaT team and other EY services;
• Take responsibility for your own learning and development;
• Engagements may include a variety of property types/projects including residential, office, retail, hospitality, warehouse & industrial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and special use.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Strong academic record, preferably relating to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics, Real Estate or Mathematics

• Sound Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Good understanding of the Cypriot real estate market
• Fluency in both verbal and written English is required, fluency in Greek is preferred

Ideally, you will also be:

• Experience in a similar transaction advisory environment / team will be considered an advantage
• Eager to undertake a professional qualification (RICS, ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification)
• Energetic, positive and team player
• In possession of strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible with a can-do attitude and a strong eye for detail
• Thirsty for learning and development
