The opportunity 

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer (ABAP) to join the EY Advisory Team. If you have a sincere passion for Consulting and looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your knowledge, skills and career, this role is for you.  

 
Key responsibilities 

• Design technical solutions using ABAP programming language within the SAP environment 

• Assist in the development and customization of SAP applications, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms 

• Perform unit testing and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet functional requirements and adhere to best practices 

• Participate in the development of technical documentation, including specifications, system documentation, and user manuals, to support the implementation and maintenance. 

• Support the implementation of SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ABAP developments with other SAP modules and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability 

Required Qualifications 

• BSc in Computer Science or related field

• Basic programming experience

• Good understanding of programming concepts  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail 

Skills and attributes for success 

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 

• Self-driven and flexible, can work autonomously with a proven work ethic 

• Team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines 

• Ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects 

• Hard working professional with ability to work under pressure 

• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality  

It will be a plus if you have 

• Knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, or other SAP technologies 

• Certification in SAP ABAP development or related certifications 

• Experience with ABAP programming language

• Knowledge of SAP modules and the SAP development environment
