The Centralised Delivery Centre (CDC) based in Newcastle upon Tyne has been created by the unprecedented growing demand in analytics by industry. Data driven decision making is now becoming paramount and having the cutting-edge technology in EY to capture/ transform/ produce world class analytics has been an incredible journey for our clients.

 

The CDC produces analytics for global clients and EY has efficiently developed extraordinary technologies with huge strides and we can produce analytics with great speed, large data volumes and automation.

 

Due to the continuing demand from our clients this is an exciting opportunity for a new Supervisor to join the expanding CDC team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing dynamic team who are changing how we deliver services to our clients.

 

Your key responsibilities
You will, as a Supervisor, take ownership to problem solve data issues from Junior members and ensure all products passed over into Supervisor Review status are resolved in a timely manner. Supervisors must ensure all delivery notes to Junior members are clear and precise.  Efficiently problem solve analyser issues in line with budget/SLA and be able to capture process notes with high quality and accuracy. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure that the analytics central email box is managed at an appropriate level. This includes to respond to emails in a timely manner & able to communicate/ challenge audit team with data issues. 
  • To conduct triaging of data sets received and clearly communicating data quality issues to the Analytics planning owner/Client. 
  • To be part of training the delivery team and coach junior members who require improvements/ understanding of key analyzer updates. 
  • To deputise with the person running the room as and when required 
  • To project manage a high profile EY client or a CDC pillar. 
  • Being able to review one type of analyser.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A good working knowledge of Excel 
  • Effectively deliver high volumes of work and analysis to a set budget
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues and have a strong commitment to teamwork 
  • Able to work with data cleansing software packages

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Have some experience of financial data analysis and one or more financial/ ERP systems
  • Possess some understanding of business and financial accounting processes
