The Tax Application Management team manage a portfolio of software for the UK Firm. Their focus on maintaining optimal functionality and adherence to regulations enhances efficiency and accuracy, enabling the firm to provide clients with reliable and timely tax services. By actively gathering user feedback and implementing improvements, the team ensures that applications meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities
• Administration of various systems applications.
• Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users, including initial triage of software issues and managing user accounts.
• Development of bespoke systems using Microsoft Power Platform, VB.NET, and VBA to meet business needs.
• Production of various reports utilising tools like Power BI and Alteryx.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure governance across applications.
Skills and attributes for success
What we look for
- Must be able to work on own initiative and without constant supervision. Confident team player, who feels able to work independently, taking initiative without the need for close supervision.
- Well organised with good time management. Proactive and capable of responsibly and independently prioritising and completing assigned work.
- General Interest in IT and with good mathematics skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral. The role will have elements of ‘internal customer facing’ and vendor interaction.
- Flexible proactive approach to demanding situations and with a solution focused mindset.
- Maintains composure and can deliver quality work when faced with challenging, time sensitive or stressful situations.
- Adaptability to changing technologies or processes and welcome the Development opportunities
