From strategy to execution, the Technology, Media and Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice of EY provides a full range of consulting and audit services to help our TMT clients quickly adapt to changing markets and economic environments in today's rapid, unpredictable landscape.

The opportunity

Assist our TMT clients better define their strategic goals, objectives, and needed investments; integrate strategy, budgeting, and management reporting with a common set of metrics and operational drivers; and drive transformational change. We have a broad range of capabilities to assist TMT clients with operational improvement, investment management, and business integration. Your key responsibilities

As one of our Managers, you'll help our TMT clients tackle their most pressing issues. Working in multidisciplinary teams, often directly with leaders of major organizations, you'll bring diverse perspectives to every challenge. You'll have the opportunity to build your skills in Transformation Architecture while also being able to team with professionals from other parts of the organization on multidisciplinary engagements.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A degree (graduate degree preferred) from a leading university in business, finance, or other quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering)
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven business transformation or consulting "subscription business model" experience (SAP BRIM is a plus) and experience working with TMT clients to design and implement enterprise strategies, such as: Operating model design; Innovation management; Enterprise economics and value creation; Customer economics, business performance and cost to serve analysis; Competitor analysis; Board/C-suite workshop facilitation; Enterprise economic and scenario modeling; Strategic goals and objective-setting; Strategic Planning process; and Strategic business portfolio design
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team through all phases of initiative life cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communications, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing industry and deep content knowledge in the Strategy area
  • Track record in developing though leadership; hypotheses, and points of view in response to complex, abstract industry issues
  • A forward-thinking self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge
  • Ability to take abstract questions and issues and structure them into manageable, specific work streams and deliverables
  • Experience in structuring the work plan, conduct fact-based analysis, as well as develop and test alternative hypotheses and an ability to demonstrate proven diligence in rigorous data analysis in support of hypothesis development 


Ideally you'll also have

  • Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 firm or large global institution serving the TMT sector
  • At least one of the following certifications:
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
    • Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
