Strategy and Transactions – Valuation Modeling & Economics – Valuation Solutions: Real Estate (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1597498), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY. 

 

Appraise real property to determine its value for purchase, sales, investment, and/or divestment. Assist clients to make strategic decisions to achieve the best potential for their real estate assets. Provide advisory services, including real estate value creation. Manage advisory engagements involving analysis of hospitality companies and proposed projects, including market, financial, operational and investment analyses; acquisition/development due diligence; strategy design; and tourism planning, market and feasibility studies. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex real estate concepts. Anticipate hospitality real estate market trends and identify the implications for clients. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience.  
 
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience creating complex financial models, such as cash flow models, property financial modeling, and/or portfolio modeling .  
 
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate loan underwriting, acquisition due diligence, real estate valuation, asset management, finance, or market research.  
 
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience building financial analytics models and tools with MS Excel.  
 
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with a financial modeling software, such as ARGUS or similar.  
 
Requires domestic and international travel up 30% in order to serve client needs.
