The opportunity
Our objective is to help clients leverage SAP technology to transform and optimize retail operations. We are seeking an experienced SAP Retail Manager with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Retail implementations across one or more retail sectors, including Grocery, Convenience, Fast Fashion, Pharmacy, Home Improvement, and General Retail.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail business processes and a proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end SAP retail solutions that support business transformation. Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA capabilities in the following areas is preferred:
- Retail Master Data
- Merchandising & Assortment Planning
- Pricing & Promotions Management
- Store Operations
- POS Inbound and Outbound
Candidates should be skilled at translating complex business requirements into scalable, integrated SAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA Retail environments.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager in Technology Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering complex technical initiatives. You will face challenges that require innovative problem-solving and analytical skills, providing you with opportunities to grow and learn in a dynamic environment.
- Lead solution discovery, process design, and solution design phases for SAP Retail transformation programs.
- Provide subject matter expertise across key SAP Retail capabilities, including:
- Retail Master Data Management (Articles, Sites, Business Partners)
- Listing, Assortment management, and Layout
- Retail Pricing, Promotions, and Markdown Processes
- Store Operations and Retail Execution
- Design integrated solutions across merchandising, planning, supply chain, and store operations processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to define target-state processes and solution roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of integrations between merchandising/planning systems and SAP S/4HANA Retail.
- Knowledge of SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), including POSDAT and retail transactional data flows.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, provide strategic solution recommendations, and drive design decisions with both business and IT stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Typically, no less than 4 to 6 years of experience delivering SAP Retail or retail transformation programs, with at least 4 years in a solution lead, workstream lead, or project leadership capacity.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional global teams.
- Familiarity with SAP Best Practices, Clean Core principles, and modern SAP implementation methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
- Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members.
- A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Prior consulting experience.
- SAP certification(s).
- Experience with at least two full cycle implementation of your core module.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
