Global Treasury Services – Manager: Primary location for this role is in NY.

 

Within Ernst & Young’s (EY) Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice, the Global Treasury Services (GTS) team is a national practice and leading provider of treasury services.  Our clients include public and private corporations, financial services organizations, government agencies and not-for-profits organizations. We are part of an integrated global network of treasury professionals who share resources, methodologies and industry trends and practices to recommend successful global solutions. We integrate with other functions within EY to seamlessly and efficiently deliver our services that cover a broad spectrum of responsibilities faced by today’s treasurers.

 

We are currently looking for an experienced treasury professional to join EY GTS to manage SAP Treasury engagement delivery teams and bring subject matter expertise around SAP functionality and processes as part of our rapidly growing SAP Treasury advisory services practice.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Manager will lead a team of Treasury advisory professionals that deliver SAP treasury-related services on client engagements. The Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Supporting engagement planning, budgeting, execution and management
  • Planning and leading the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery for a SAP Treasury implementation
  • Designing SAP Treasury solution and leading the implementation engagement
  • Participating in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel
  • Overseeing end-user training and support
  • Building long-term relationships with our clients to discover their unique goals, ambitions and needs
  • Developing, tracking and managing actual engagement economics versus the budget
  • Assisting with the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagement and support in presales as required
  • Supporting the development and management of the relationships with external and internal (EY) clients
  • Supporting development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies
  • Supporting other ad-hoc internal initiatives geared towards improving our group’s efficiency, effectiveness and integration with other service lines

 

To qualify, candidates must have:

 

  • BS/BA degree with more than 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is a plus
  • A proven record of problem solving and analytical thinking within a global corporate treasury or consulting business
  • Prior experience working in SAP, preferably in an S/4 HANA environment
  • Experience or knowledge of Financial Accounting components of SAP is a plus
  • Exposure to either of SAP Treasury components (Cash Management, Transaction Manager, In-House cash, Bank Communication Management) is a must
  • Good listening skills, inquisitive nature, intellectual curiosity and self-starter qualities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information in a concise and clear manner
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management (EY and clients)
  • Experience working on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time

What we offer
 
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
