The FSO Consulting Finance team is looking for a Manager with a strong delivery track record across cost allocations and profitability management within Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management, and Insurance. We are looking for an experienced individual who is highly motivated, professional and passionate about what they do, and who will further add to the continued success of our team.

 

The opportunity
Join EY's Financial Services Organization (FSO) where you'll be part of a specialized team delivering Workday financial solutions for leading organizations. As a Manager, you'll join a focused team driving transformative financial systems implementations with growing market presence. This role offers accelerated growth through complex projects, while developing both consulting and leadership capabilities at a global leader in professional services.

 

Technical Leadership

  • Design and implement core financial processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Cash-to-Cash), bringing your expertise to shape solutions that work for each client's unique needs
  • Guide technical architecture decisions within established frameworks, collaborating with client teams to develop sustainable solutions
  • Champion quality standards across workstreams, mentoring teams to deliver excellent results while growing their capabilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead workstreams within enterprise implementations, exercising independent judgment to navigate complex requirements and dependencies
  • Drive successful delivery of small to medium-sized Workday Financials engagements from kickoff to go-live
  • Build effective partnerships between technical and functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that exceed client expectations

Client & Practice Development

  • Build trusted client relationships through your consultative approach and delivery excellence
  • Shape proposals and solution designs that address client challenges while highlighting achievable innovations
  • Contribute to our practice growth by sharing your knowledge and helping develop our next generation of consultants

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience implementing Workday Financials or similar enterprise financial systems, with current certification and a track record of successful full-cycle implementations
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, combined with strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and guide teams to successful delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday's advanced capabilities including Accounting Center and Prism Analytics, along with cross-module expertise in HCM and Supply Chain Management
  • Industry expertise in Financial Services, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards
  • Professional services or consulting background with a track record of driving complex transformational initiatives

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
