The EY Growth Platform (EYGP) integrates business strategy, advanced technology, and applied AI engineering to deliver scalable AI products and platforms for the world’s largest organizations. Your key responsibilities 

Within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution – Growth Platforms practice, Senior Directors are are responsible for translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. Senior Directors manage day-to-day problem-solving and team analytical activities and serve as key liaisons between consulting team members, EY-Parthenon partners, and our clients. Senior Directors are also responsible for mentoring, inspiring and developing team staff. Additionally, Senior Directors support the growth of the business by working alongside partners on new opportunities with potential clients, including preparing for and participating in pitch meetings, creating proposals and working on the sale process.

Our teams work on a variety of client issues. The range of assignments includes developing neuro-symbolic AI workflows for organizations across commercial and operating initiatives including, but not limited to, pricing, forecasting, new product / service, market entry, portfolio optimization, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, resourcing, supply chain, and procurement.

Lead the build and scaling of neuro‑symbolic AI solutions

  • Define the objective and scope of strategy engagements and client deliverables in consultation with the Partner.
  • Drive the full lifecycle of NSAI workflow development: business development, scoping, value case, stakeholder interviews, requirement mapping, client collaboration, roadmap, future operating model.
  • Translate complex business challenges into knowledge-driven AI solutions across commercial and operational strategic initiatives.
  • Develop a clear operating vision and roadmap aligned to customer needs, economic impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop business strategies using tools such as market analysis, customer research, and financial forecasting.
  • Drive business development activities internally across the broader EY-Parthenon organization.

Direct cross-functional business, product, and technical teams

  • Serve as the primary orchestrator across client, product management, engineering, and subject matter experts / industry specialists.
  • Establish delivery governance to ensure predictable, high-quality execution.

Partner with senior executives and enterprise stakeholders

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and internal leaders on AI strategy, product direction, and deployment models.
  • Support investment decisions with clear business cases, milestones, and measurable value.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

Skills and attributes for success 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in ambiguous, complex environments.
  • Executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience defining business strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics.
  • Manage and motivate workstreams and teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Develop, manage and mentor junior team members at the Associate, Senior Associate, Consultant, and Director levels.

To qualify for the role, you must have 

  • A bachelor's degree with outstanding academic performance and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience.
  • Experience managing business strategy development in complex or regulated environments.
  • Strong quantitative skills to supervise data analysis, interpret output and generate insights
  • Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.
  • You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have 

  • An MBA with 3 to 6 years of post-graduate-school experience in a consulting, operating or investment banking role, with a particular focus on client advisory or strategic planning within a professional services environment. Some previous management consulting experience is required. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex assignments and develop individual team members.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience with neuro‑symbolic AI frameworks, knowledge representation, or semantic data platforms.
  • Background working with regulated industries (Financial Services, Health, Government, Energy, etc.).
  • Experience with large-scale cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and enterprise data platforms.
  • Prior leadership in building reusable AI platforms or multi-tenant enterprise solutions.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $250,000 to $290,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
