Join our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team and you’ll directly support and promote our brand and reputation. Through internal communications, public relations and corporate communications, you’ll provide a wide range of marketing and communications services to internal and external audiences. These include current and future clients, our current and future employees, alumni, regulators, the media and the communities within which we operate.
The opportunity
The Communications Supervising Associate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our internal communications strategy within the Americas Tax Service Line. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, ability to collaborate with several stakeholders across the firm and proficiency in various digital tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing internal news articles and newsletters, presentations, and emails, as well as maintaining process guides and data metrics.
Your key responsibilities
- Supports the business function’s communication strategy, working with Communications and Engagement team and internal and external stakeholders to support the function’s objectives.
- Identifies content opportunities, engages with subject matter experts, secures appropriate reviews and approvals, and edits as needed.
- Edit and review content to ensure grammatical accuracy, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Manages channels for business function including mailings, newsletters, internal articles and news page, and more.
- Leverages communications knowledge and expertise to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences.
- Manage and liaison with video production team on various internal and external videos.
- Collects and analyzes metrics to gauge reach, engagement, and other performance measures for internal communication campaigns, helping to inform results-based decision making.
- Works with Service Lines, Industry and/or functional group to develop a communications plan for specific client groups.
- Participates in other functional/internal client programs as required.
- Effectively prioritize work and balance multiple priorities simultaneously to meet client commitments and deadlines.

- Proven experience of collaborating with Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams and various stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with people at all levels

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including superior editing, proofing, and proficiency with grammar
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Journalistic sense for creating great content, with the ability to identify key messages and interpret these for the wider audience
- Sophisticated analytical thinking to make decisions and identify innovative solutions
- Previous experience in large, matrix organizations or other Big Four
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Stream, Adobe Analytics and PowerBI
- Basic understanding of Adobe Acrobat/PDF-Xchange, Adobe platform, OneAccess, Marketo, Process Management
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Five or more years of experience; communications experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent work experience
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Ability to assist in managing budget for communication initiatives

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $74,800 to $139,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $89,800 to $159,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
