The opportunity 

As a Senior in Transformation Architecture, you will be at the forefront of designing, architecting, and delivering large-scale transformations of service delivery models and enterprise operations. Your role will involve applying sector-specific business drivers, market events, operating principles, and transformation trends to lead initiatives that generate long-term client value. You will also advise teams and client C-suite executives on their transformation strategies and assist in the design and implementation of complex programs.

Your key responsibilities 

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will act as the design discipline lead on multidisciplinary teams of researchers, technologists and engagement team members. You will create as well as translate schematic wireframes to high fidelity mockups and work with developers and animators to create stunning prototypes. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary group with researchers, UX engineers, engagement team members and other designers, thus gaining exposure to multiple client industries, each posing new technical and creative challenges.

Your ability to interpret internal and external issues and recommend quality solutions will be crucial. You will also need to meet performance objectives and metrics set locally, including client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development, and teaming. 

 

We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who has experience in creating smart, effective, engaging and visually appealing user experiences. A team member who is passionate, results-oriented and a strong conceptual thinker. Someone who is skilled at communicating tactical and strategic design choices and recommendations to clients and internal teams.  

 

To qualify for the role you must have 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Multimedia Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognition Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Informatics and Design or a related field  

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field Can you specify?  

  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Creative Cloud apps, Sketch, Keynote, InVision, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Figma, LottieFiles, and other prototyping software 

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment 

  • The ability to travel outside of your assigned office. 

 
Ideally, you’ll also have 

  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • A portfolio showing your user-centered design process and representative work   

  • A passion for all things Design-related as well as other areas of design and innovation, including research   

  • The ability to create everything from lo-fidelity mockups to high-fidelity designs. Experience in animation and motion graphics is highly valuable  

  • Knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies and be active in the design community   

  • Experience communicating and interacting with clients. Ideally in a global setting where you are collaborating between countries and driving the work of asynchronous teams across multiple geographies 

  • Fluency in Spanish 

  • Experience working with AI technologies to enhance and accelerate processes, including basic scripting skills. 

  • Proficiency in motion graphics, with a strong understanding of Expressions in After Effects. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in animation and storyboarding. 

  • Proven video editing skills, with a portfolio that highlights your work. 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of video production processes, including composition, shooting, and script writing. 

  • A portfolio showcasing your work in animation, motion graphics, and video editing. 

  • Integrating innovative technologies into design practices, particularly in the realm of AI and multimedia. 

  • Familiarity with industry trends in video and motion graphics.

What we offer
 
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96,300 to $176,500. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115,500 to $200,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
