SaT - S&E - Corporate Strategy :
Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to today’s toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.

Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Role purpose
Lead client engagements end-to-end—shaping approach, orchestrating multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring quality delivery, and owning senior stakeholder relationships. Drive CDD engagements for PE/VC and strategic investors, including market, competitive, and synergy assessments.
Key responsibilities
Frame the problem and hypothesis-tree; design the engagement plan and guardrails.
Oversee business cases/financial models and CDD deliverables (market sizing, competitive landscape, customer insights, synergy quantification).
Steer operating model and execution roadmap with change-management plan.
Manage CXO-level communications; run SteerCos and decision forums.
Drive business development (proposals, orals, credentials) and thought leadership; mentor team members.
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree as above; MBA/PGDM strongly preferred.
Deep knowledge in at least two FS domains (e.g., retail/MSME lending, cards/payments, deposits & liabilities, insurance, wealth/AM) and understanding of India FS regulatory context.
Proven engagement leadership, commercial acumen, and team development.
Experience
5–7 years total, with significant consulting experience leading multi-workstream strategy/transformation programs in FS.
Hands-on experience in CDD or transaction advisory (e.g., PE/VC diligence, inorganic growth strategy) is highly desirable.
