Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- The role requires strong technical depth across accounting, compliance, and ERP-enabled finance operations, with the ability to operate confidently in a global, system-driven environment. 1. Strong understanding of core accounting processes and period-end close, including transaction recording, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, prepaids, vendor payments, FX revaluation, and month-end/year-end close activities. 2. Hands-on experience with ERP and financial systems, preferably SAP / SAP S/4HANA (or equivalent large ERP platforms such as Oracle or Workiva or Anaplan), including system configuration understanding, master data structures, accounting, postings, and system-generated outputs. 3. Solid grounding in accounting principles and standards, with experience in IND AS, IFRS, and / or US GAAP, and the ability to assess accounting impact, interpret standards, and ensure compliance in system-driven environments. 4. Ability to translate accounting and business requirements into system artefacts, such as functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and control documentation, enabling smooth collaboration with technology and engineering teams. 5. Exposure to ERP implementation or transformation initiatives, including activities such as fit-gap analysis, AS-IS / TO-BE design, data migration, testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT), and post-go-live stabilization. 6. Strong data orientation, with the ability to analyze system-generated financial data, identify inconsistencies or breaks in process flows, investigate root causes, and support timely resolution. 7. Experience with close and reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine or equivalent) and reporting / consolidation tools (e.g., Workiva, Power BI, or similar) to drive accuracy, transparency, and efficiency. 8. Comfort with documentation and controls, including drafting SOPs, process narratives, and system documentation to support internal controls, audit readiness, and knowledge transfer.

Experience
- Finance / ERP Functional Analyst with 4–6 years of experience
