Your key responsibilities

Data Analyst  (SQL-Focused)

Experience: 3–8 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL-centric Data Analyst with strong experience in working with large datasets, ETL processes, and Data Warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end exposure to data analytics—from data extraction and validation to analysis and reporting—while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

This role requires hands-on expertise in advanced SQL and a solid understanding of data pipelines and warehouse concepts. Visualization skills are a plus but not a primary requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation on large and complex datasets
• Work with ETL processes and data warehouse systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements
• Support end-to-end analytics workflows including data sourcing, transformation, and insights generation
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and data processes

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries, functions, performance tuning)
• Experience with ETL tools and/or Data Warehouse concepts (fact/dimension tables, schemas, data modeling basics)
• Solid understanding of data analysis, data validation, and reconciliation techniques
• Experience handling large-scale datasets in production environments

Good-to-Have Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to Power BI or Tableau for basic reporting or data validation
• Familiarity with basic data modeling concepts

Note: This is NOT a Power BI developer role. Visualization skills are secondary.
