The opportunity : Assistant Manager-National-TAX-  ACR - New Delhi

EY has competencies in Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Global Law, Indirect Tax, International Tax and Transaction Services.

 

Technical Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in client-facing payroll services.
  • In-depth experience in core payroll functions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical and PowerPoint skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll-related statutory compliances such as ESI, Provident Fund, Salary TDS, Professional Tax, and Labour Welfare Fund.
  • Familiarity with the upcoming code on wages is a plus point.

 

Education Qualification:

  • 5-10 years experience in Payroll processing (end to end payroll management),Tax proof validation, Compliances like PF, ESIC & TDS.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Manage client deliverables pertaining to payroll and related compliances for India.
  • Lead the team to consistently deliver quality results.
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA) regarding Turn Around Time (TAT) and accuracy.
  • Review and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Effectively handle escalations if any.

 

People Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks effectively and develop team members.
  • Manage work, including resource allocations, attrition, and other people-related issues.
  • Offer effective solutions and mentor team members on various functional issues.

 

Additional Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Logical and analytical thinking
