Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

 

  • Job Description for Executive-Litigation; § To coordinate with external lawyers and internal stakeholders for drafting, managing, distribution, providing responses to, for all litigation and regulatory queries/requirements; § To interact and work closely with multiple stakeholders (including internal and external) in relation to all legal matters; § Tackle complex issues that cross organisational and geographical boundaries and advice on any issue that the business functions face; § Wealth of experience in advising on compliance and legal issues; § Develop clear understanding of EY policies and procedures; § Proficiency with the applicable laws (with emphasis on corporate laws and data privacy laws), legal procedures, protocols and functioning of various courts and tribunals in India; § Basic understanding of GDPR and reviewing data processing agreements; § Drafting, vetting, reviewing, contractual agreements, RFPs, NDAs, with knowledge of internal stakeholder's expectations and ability to fulfil its requirements; § Drafting and filing legal documents and/or correspondences to be sent from the General Counsel’s Office; § Transcribing minutes of meetings, case preparation, notes for case files, briefs for the General Counsel and/or other stakeholders; § Coordination with the team members for preparation of presentations/decks/guidance documents; § Efficient case tracking and management skills for all matters with timely and regular briefs being sent to the General Counsel for all matters; § Review of contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with firm’s policies and all applicable laws and identify any potential/threats of litigation; § Adept at legal research, legal analysis and certain litigation support activities (as may be required); § 8+ years of experience in law firms or in-house legal team of multi-national companies; § Ability to manage multiple priorities, work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines; § Client/internal stakeholder management skills; § Comfortable with working on pace and functioning in a hands on environment; § Fluent in verbal and written English; and § Short notice period. To coordinate with external lawyers and internal stakeholders for drafting, managing, for all litigation and regulatory queries/requirements; Basic understanding of GDPR case preparation, notes for case files, briefs for the General Counsel and/or other stakeholders.
