Our Markets team focuses on providing account teams with the support they need to help drive revenue growth. Our "account-centric" approach to serving clients starts with understanding their business and providing tools and enablers to provide consistency on how we identify and align our services and solutions to our clients' most pressing issues. We deliver services through one or more of our four global service lines: Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions and Tax. Our Markets team comprises of Business Development and Brand Media & Communication (BMC).

Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Analyst / Associate Job Responsibilities / KRAs: Lead origination (fundraise / M&A opportunities to advise) Lead evaluation (including sector research, building sector thesis, detailed evaluation of the pitch-deck, MIS and business plans, interviewing founders / CEOs, competitive landscaping, enlisting targets (potential investors / acquirers) and doing soft-checks with a few targets Creating high-quality collateral documents - Teasers, IMs & FMs Creating a wide investor target list Managing investor reach out and discussions Providing analytical support through the post term sheet stage up until disbursement Regular updates to management on all aspects, including informal updates over WhatsApp and formal updates through structured trackers, IT tools and emails. Desired Profile - Mandatory Criteria: Should have experience in deal origination, deal evaluation, deal marketing as well as deal closure Should have hands-on and high-quality experience in all the Investment Banking processes, including all the KRAs listed in the above section Should have excellent analytical capabilities, oral and written communication skills, relationship building & relationship nurturing skills Should have a good understanding of a few key sectors and business models within the broad space of tech and tech-enabled ventures. Should be able to handle communications with relevant stakeholders in the ecosystem Should have strong project management skills & experience Should have strong work-ethics and should be comfortable with tight deadlines and parallel execution on multiple threads Should be able to collaborate remotely with multiple stakeholders Should be able to travel at short notices Should be a team player with high emotional intelligence Educational Qualifications & Experience - Mandatory Criteria: CA / CFA / MBA in Finance / B.Com (H) or Engineering from Grade A school Min. 2 year of experience in VC / PE or debt investments (RBF / Venture Debt), or investment banking in fund raising.
