Assurance Advisor, Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) - Digital (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1597026), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Nashville, TN.

 

Provide advice on climate change and sustainability services to help clients understand and manage their climate change issues related to new regulatory requirements, rising stakeholder concerns and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation. Advise clients on technical sustainability reporting and advisory capabilities. Collaborate with team and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations. Communicate clients’ needs and expectations to the engagement team. Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service. Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve our products and processes. Communicate creative and strategic goals both internally and externally.

 

Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of work experience.

 

Must have 4 years of experience in Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Accountability, ISO 14064, or Enablon.

 

Must have 3 years of experience with enablement of Enablon, SAP or ERP software for large complex organizations.

 

Must have 3 years of experience implementing software to track EHS and climate change initiatives for clients.

 

Must have 4 years of experience with cost estimating procedures regarding site investigation and remedial matters.

 

Must have 2 years of experience with environmental regulations such as CERCLA, RCRA, EPCRA, Clean Air Act, Endangered Species Act or similar.

 

Must have 4 years of experience with safety regulations and (OSHA)compliance.

 

Must have 4 years of experience with environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting landscape and business drivers.

 

Must have 4 years of project management experience.

 

Must have 4 years of experience supervising a team of at least 4 team members.

 

Must have certification/accreditation or sufficient coursework/experience requirements to obtain certification within one year of hire in one of the following: APICS CSCP (American Production and Inventory Control Society - Certified Supply Chain Professional); CA (Chartered Accountant) Canada; CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) Canada; CAP (Certified Analytics Professional); Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP); Certified Climate Change Professional (CC-P); Certified Energy Manager (CEM); Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); The CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing (CFA ESG); Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified Industrial Hygienist / Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist (CIH / CAIH); Certified Information Systems Auditor Certificate (CISA); Certified Management Accountant (CMA); Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA); Certified Professional Geologist (CPG); Certified Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB); Global Association of Risk Professionals Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate (GARP); Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification (issued by CARB) (GHG Verifier); Global Reporting Initiative Professional Certification (GRI); International Society of Sustainability Professionals – Certified Sustainability Professional (ISSP – CSP); Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP); International Society of Sustainability Professionals - Sustainability Associate (ISSP – SA); Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA); Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED); Professional Engineer (PE); Project Management Professional (PMP); or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Fundamentals of Sustainability Account Credential (SASB).

 

Requires travel up to 40%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.

The base salary for this job is $185,810.00 per year. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
