Job Description
The Technology Consulting Associates will be responsible for design and delivery of technology projects and helping clients to realise the value they can obtain from their IT investments. As part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service by providing advice on how technology enablement, digital transformation and enterprise intelligence contribute to performance improvement, as well as how IT can act as a multiplier during major program transformations. Additionally, you will follow project standards within established timeframes and at defined quality levels, and ensure projects are completed according to schedule and client specifications. This position is client-facing and requires travel to client sites, as per client requirements.
The opportunity
We are looking for Technology Consulting Associates to join our Technology Consulting - Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities as a Technology Consulting Associate will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be involved in IT transformation projects: contribute to technology system implementations (PMO, change management, process design, parameterization, test management, data migration, training)
- Gathering requirements and drafting technical specifications
- Monitor project progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Interact with clients to provide them insights and possibilities within their domain to help shape and craft their transformation journeys and to determine the project requirements and needs analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for clients in accordance with pre-defined standards and procedures.
- Establish and/or assist client with controls based on client’s business practices and processes; recommend best practices; review setup with clients and gain client acceptance.
- Assess and report risks during project and participate in the development and implementation of mitigation plans.
- Communicate project scope, status, and risks to all stakeholders.
- Record accurate and timely accounting of time spent on project related activities.
- Follow established project, departmental, company procedures and quality standards.
- Follow established project management standards.
- Provide activities related to the management of assigned implementation projects to bring the project to a timely close and transition the client appropriately.
- Complete post-implementation tasks in a timely manner.
- Update internal documentation as applicable.
- Perform data analysis activities to support technology transformation projects, including data profiling, data quality assessment, trend analysis, exception identification, and preparation of insights for project teams and client stakeholders.
- Support the design and execution of data migration activities, including review of source and target data structures, data mapping, transformation rules, migration scripts, test cycles, mock runs, dress rehearsals, cutover preparation, and post-migration validation.
- Conduct data reconciliation and validation between legacy and target systems to assess completeness, accuracy, integrity, consistency, and readiness for go-live.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical summaries using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar platforms to support project tracking, issue monitoring, data quality reporting, and management decision-making.
- Support data governance and documentation activities, including maintaining data dictionaries, mapping templates, reconciliation logs, issue registers, validation evidence, and migration status reports.
- Work with business users, vendors, technology teams, and project managers to investigate data defects, resolve migration issues, track remediation actions, and escalate risks affecting data quality or migration readiness.
- Assist in developing data migration test plans, reconciliation approaches, validation scripts, and go-live readiness criteria aligned to project objectives, regulatory requirements, and client quality standards.
Required Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related technology field
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in technology project management and data migration
- Client facing service experience required.
- Experience with various project management tools and methods preferred
- Demonstrates understanding of scope, schedule and planning, understanding of time management, resource management cost management. Possesses good project management skills
- Experience of working in large programs of work
- Experience creating, executing, and amending project plans for large, complex projects
- Experience applying formal project management methodologies and disciplines to manage large, complex projects
- Experience with Core Banking Transformation programs will be an added advantage
- Exposure to core transformation journeys at a variety of levels (management, design, implementation) will be an added advantage
- Experience in data analysis, data quality assessment, data migration, or data reconciliation within technology transformation, ERP, core banking, CRM, or enterprise system implementation projects.
- Practical experience using data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of data migration lifecycle activities, including data discovery, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, mock runs, cutover support, and post-migration review.
- Experience preparing analytical reports, dashboards, status updates, issue logs, reconciliation reports, or data quality summaries for project teams and stakeholders.
- Exposure to data governance concepts such as data ownership, data quality rules, metadata, data dictionaries, lineage, controls, and auditability will be an added advantage.

- Good working knowledge of data analysis, data quality, data validation, and reconciliation techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and apply structured problem-solving to support data migration, reporting, and transformation activities.
- Proficiency or willingness to develop capability in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, or equivalent analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and commitment to maintaining data accuracy, completeness, integrity, and auditability.
