Job Description – Manual Tester

Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Remote

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Functional tester to support testing activities in banking applications. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Finacle and hands-on experience in manual and API testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for Finacle-based applications with focus on loan modules
• Validate loan workflows, business rules, and functional scenarios
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
• Conduct API testing for integration validation
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure requirement clarity
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects
• Support UAT and production validation activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in manual testing
• Strong functional knowledge of Banking Modules
• Hands-on experience in API testing
• Good understanding of banking/core banking systems
• Experience in test case design, defect management, and UAT support
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in banking/NBFC projects
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
