The opportunity


We are looking to hire an experienced Business Incentives Advisory Consultant / Manager with a passion for government public policy and strategic investment tools, technology and innovation, and strong business acumen to join our growing Business Incentives Advisory team in Singapore to focus on delivering business incentive advisory services.


Our team of tax accountants, scientists, engineers and programmers help multinational and local Singapore  businesses across all industries to access various government investment  incentives and grant support to help them grow and expand in Singapore, as they develop their R&D, technology and related capabilities.

Your key responsibilities


  • Advise and support our clients to access a suite of Government incentives through the evaluation and optimisation of incentive opportunities
  • Drive/engage in strategic communications and meetings with the Singapore Government Authorities together with the client in respect of their business expansion interests/plans
  • Liaise with our clients’ senior management, finance professionals, tax accountants, scientists, engineers, and programmers, etc. to learn of their exciting business developmental and R&D plans for Singapore
  • Build meaningful and lasting relationships and deepen sectoral industrial experience with clients
  • Strategic financial analysis of business and headcount projections and test working assumptions. Strong excel skills will be preferred.
  • Analyse complex project information to assess eligibility for R&D incentives support
  • Prepare technical reports to substantiate R&D incentive claims
  • Train and supervise junior staff to support the preparation of R&D incentive claims

To qualify for the role you must have


  • At least 4 years of experience in assisting companies with R&D incentive claims (locally or internationally) and/or
  • At least 4 years of experience in business / tax advisory consulting field (locally or internationally)
  • Undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in science, technology, engineering or maths, accountancy and finance


Ideally, you’ll also have


  • Genuine interest in innovation and technology
  • Flexibility and adaptive in thinking and action
  • Accreditation by SCTP / CPA
