We help our clients in identifying and managing the interplay between upside and downside risk in order to make the long-term decisions to prevent risk and impact on their organization's ability to meet its future business strategy and objectives. The 3 key fields of play are :

Enterprise Risk - helps clients identify and address key risk areas, while building the agility to respond quickly. The areas of focus include Enterprise risk and resilience, Internal audit, Compliance and Internal controls

Technology Risk - helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts to protect their business performance and by providing trusted communications on internal control and regulatory compliance to investors, management, regulators, customers and other stakeholders. EY teams accomplish this by assessing the technology risks that are introduced to businesses.

Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Management of KYC processes on all live and existing debt and FX mandates.
• Produce management information and external reports for debt and FX
• Oversight of facility borrowing bases, ensuring proactive management of events that impact borrowing capacity, such as new closed investors and/or investor transfers
• Ensure debt & FX covenants are followed appropriately, liaising with internal and external stakeholders when necessary
• Support the portfolio management of subscription, hybrid, and NAV debt facilities, ensuring active management of renewals, increases and decreases.
• Close collaboration with Treasury on the day-to-day management of facilities
• Calculation of FX hedge ratios and recommendation of FX forward trades in line with hedging policy
• Monitoring of debt, FX, and legal costs, ensuring prompt settlement of lender & legal fees
• Active research of the Fund Finance market and competitor analysis

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

• Project planning, implementation, and delivery is essential for this report.
• Project Experience of working with various types of facilities & FX for private equity funds, either from the fund or lender side of the transaction is advantageous.
• Experience with FX hedge products and strategies would be beneficial.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Prior experience dealing with a global client base is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. VBA knowledge would be beneficial.
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritise delivery.
• Ability to manage deliverables of the team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Prior experience in the fund finance industry is beneficial but not essential.
