- Job Title: Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) – Finance Transformation Manager Company Overview: Ernst & Young (EY) is a global leader in Assurance, Tax, Transaction, and Advisory services. We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) team. Our FAAS practice supports clients in building effective and efficient finance functions through a range of accounting, reporting, and analytics services. We address the CFO’s agenda, providing insights and services that ensure compliance with evolving financial requirements, enhance transparency, and support better decision-making. Role Overview: As a FAAS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming finance functions for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in finance processes, digital transformations, and technology implementations to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to develop and implement finance transformation initiatives, including:
- Financial close and consolidation processes
- R2R Process re-engineering
- Functional Support for ERP technology implementation within finance functions
- Project management and shared service centre setup
- Business requirements gathering and analysis, As-Is and To-Be assessments and maturity assessments
- Data analytics and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Manage client relationships at senior levels, identifying new business opportunities and addressing client issues with tailored solutions.
- Deliver innovative services as part of a project team, typically involving 2-10 EY team members.
- Build business cases to support changes within finance functions and identify critical technological requirements for financial processes.
- Develop structured oral and written findings, presenting insights to client peer groups.
- Own the responsibility of revenue targets and support leadership to deliver the growth agenda Qualifications:
- Academic Credentials:
- MBA or ACA Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA) or equivalent (mandatory).
- Desirable: PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Six Sigma qualifications.
- Functional implementation experience/certificates in SAP/S4 HANA, Oracle Applications, Blackline, BPC, Hyperion, Workiva, Board, Lean/Six Sigma.
- Experience:
- 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in:
- Process transitions and designing finance operating models.
- Leading projects in Record to Report (R2R), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and finance transformation.
- R2R/ATR process standardization and drafting design blueprints.
- Functional consulting for large ERP transformations (S4 HANA/Oracle Cloud), Blackline, Anaplan, RPA, Microsoft Dynamics.
- Managing quality projects through KPI monitoring and reporting.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and change management experience.
- Basic to moderate understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
- Proven ability to thrive on new challenges, adapt quickly, and engage in continual learning.
- Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively within a consulting team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
