Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Key Responsibilities
- Support business development activities, including proposal development, pitch preparation, and client presentations.
- Manage and strengthen client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders.
- Provide technical accounting advisory on complex matters under IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind AS, including research, interpretation, and preparation/review of technical accounting memoranda.
- Support clients in implementing new accounting standards, including impact assessment, transition planning, and adoption support to ensure compliant application.
- Assist clients in meeting financial reporting requirements, including preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or Ind AS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Assisting clients in documenting end-to-end business and finance processes through detailed SOPs, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Supporting the development and updating of Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs) by identifying key risks, mapping relevant controls, and aligning them with applicable accounting, regulatory, and internal control frameworks.
- Assist clients in Treasury and ERP implementations, ensuring alignment of accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls, and providing practical guidance on compliance and transaction flow validation.
- Develop and maintain checklists to ensure client compliance with RBI directions and circulars, and support gap identification and remediation.
- Lead end-to-end project management across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Supervise, mentor, and coach team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional development.
- Keep abreast of accounting standards, regulatory developments, and industry trends, with a focus on the Financial Services sector.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail and limited supervision. Requirements We are looking for accounting professionals with strong Accounting Advisory experience of 5 - 8 years, particularly serving Financial Services clients such as banks, NBFCs, asset management companies, insurance companies, and fintechs.
- Strong domain knowledge in accounting advisory, including GAAP conversions, accounting policy support, new accounting standard implementation, and disclosure support under IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind AS.
- Prior experience serving Financial Services sector clients in a consulting or advisory capacity.
- Strong business acumen with experience in proposal development, pitch preparation, and client presentations.
- Proven client management skills with ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong skills in preparing, reviewing, and analysing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Specific financial reporting experience in at least two of the following: - Experience in process documentation and translating complex workflows into clear SOPs and understanding of internal controls and ability to map key risks to relevant controls. - Knowledge of Treasury and ERP systems with ability to align accounting processes and internal controls. - Awareness of RBI regulations and experience in creating compliance tools/checklists. - Developing and delivering technical training - Transactions (acquisitions, carve outs, demergers, restructuring) - Preparation for IPO including listing rules in India/UK/US
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight timelines, and meet demanding client expectations.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and also proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide junior staff to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to work independently.

- •\tMinimum 5–8 years of experience in Accounting Advisory, Financial Reporting, or Accounting Advisory engagements, preferably in a Big 4 or consulting environment.
