Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

 

  • Job Description 1. Lead or support financial reporting assignments under IND AS, IFRS, and Indian GAAP. 2. Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and disclosures. 3. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex accounting matters. 4. Support accounting policy documentation, implementation, and review. 5. Work with stakeholders across finance, audit, risk, compliance, and business teams. 6. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. 7. Assist in transition, convergence, or implementation projects related to IND AS / IFRS. 8. Evaluate the accounting impact of new business transactions, products, or regulatory changes. 9. Prepare technical memos, accounting position papers, and management presentations. 10. Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal teams for timely closure of reporting matters Required Skills and Experience 1. Strong working knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, and Indian GAAP. 2. Prior experience in the financial services sector is required. 3. Experience in insurance accounting/reporting will be an added advantage. 4. Good understanding of financial statement preparation, consolidation, and disclosures. 5. Ability to interpret accounting standards and apply them to business transactions. 6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. 7. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. 8. Strong communication and presentation skills. 9. High attention to detail and ability to manage timelines. Preferred Qualification 1. Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification. 2. Experience with banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, asset management companies, or other financial services institutions. 3. Exposure to regulatory reporting and audit coordination will be preferred.
