CBS - C&I - BD & CE Leadership :

Our Markets team focuses on providing account teams with the support they need to help drive revenue growth. Our "account-centric" approach to serving clients starts with understanding their business and providing tools and enablers to provide  consistency on how we identify and align our services and solutions to our clients' most pressing issues. We deliver services through one or more of our four global service lines: Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions and Tax. Our Markets team comprises of Business Development and Brand Media & Communication (BMC).

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

 

  • Strategy & Opportunity Identification Identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis to support growth strategy. Work with leadership to define corporate development priorities aligned with business goals. M&A and Transaction Execution Lead end-to-end execution of M&A and investment transactions, including target screening, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, tax, HR, business teams) and external advisors (investment bankers, consultants, legal firms). Prepare investment notes, business cases, board presentations, and approval documents. Financial Analysis & Valuation Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and synergy assessments. Assess financial, operational, and strategic risks associated with transactions. Support deal pricing, structuring, and negotiation strategies. Integration & Value Creation Support post-merger integration planning and execution to ensure value realization. Track synergy realization and post-deal performance. Partner with business teams to resolve integration challenges. Stakeholder Management & Governance Engage with senior leadership and board members on corporate development initiatives. Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and approval processes. Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.

 


Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

  • MBA

Experience

  • Experience in Investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or related roles. Strong experience in M&A transactions, financial modeling, and valuation. Exposure to cross-border transactions is an advantage. Skills & Competencies Strong strategic and analytical thinking Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Negotiation and deal execution capability Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment High level of integrity and discretion
