The opportunity: Consultant – FS Tech Consulting – BA (Lending) – Mumbai/Bangalore

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across the lending lifecycle (Retail/Corporate lending, LOS).  
• Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to design lending solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and process mapping for lending workflows.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal banking policies.
• Drive improvements in loan origination systems and lending processes.

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Technology / Finance or related field)
• MBA (preferred)

Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in Business Analysis
• Strong experience in Banking & Lending domain (mandatory)

Core Skills

• Strong understanding of Lending lifecycle (Retail/Corporate lending) and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
• Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on with BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process modelling.
• Knowledge of credit evaluation, customer onboarding, and lending workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-have

• Exposure to workflow engines or lending platforms
• Experience with Salesforce or API integrations in lending ecosystem
