SaT - TCF - Capital and Debt Advisory :

Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to today’s toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. From portfolio review and capital allocation processes to financial planning analytics and decision support, we have the people, analytics and tools to better allocate capital. Our team helps clients manage their risk/return trade-offs to support them with better decision-making around financing and capital efficiency.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• A. Skills Required: (1) Strong understanding of cash flows, profitability and working capital metrics, with the ability to articulate potential impact of operational improvements on a company's financial statements. (2) Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. (3) Proven experience in delivering complex transformation programs, leading project teams and managing client relationships. (4) Demonstrated initiative and self-drive, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. (5) Proficiency in MS Office packages (in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint), BI tools, AI tools. (6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. (7) Willingness to travel and work from client location. B. Key responsibilities: (1) Lead and manage working capital optimization projects for clients across various industries. (2) Assess a company's current processes across commercial, finance and operations functions to identify pain points and gaps that are impacting working capital, cash flow and profitability. (3) Develop strategies and implement measurable improvements to optimize inventory management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. (4) Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to drive project execution and ensure alignment with client objectives. (5) Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. (6) Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations for client and internal pursuit meetings. (7) Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. (8) Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in working capital management.

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering / Chartered Accountant + MBA (from a premier institution);

Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in consulting, finance or a related field, with a focus on working capital optimization;
• Experience in finance transformation, supply chain optimisation or process improvement projects.
