Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

 

  • Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Strategy & Execution practice as an Associate Vice President. The role focuses on helping clients define technology-enabled business strategies, drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, assess AI opportunities, identify AI use cases and define risks. Additionally, the individual may also have experience in delivering technology due diligence, carve-out, integration, and value creation programs. Key Responsibilities a. Digital Transformation & Technology Strategy - Lead enterprise-wide technology assessments and transformation programs. - Develop technology strategies, future-state technology architectures, application landscapes, cloud strategies, digital roadmaps, and target tech operating models aligned to business objectives. - Support CIO and business stakeholders in prioritizing strategic initiatives, investment cases, and transformation portfolios. - Develop technology governance frameworks, KPIs, and value realization mechanisms. b. AI Strategy & Emerging Technologies - Define enterprise AI strategies, AI operating models, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps. - Identify and prioritize AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI use cases across industrial and manufacturing value chains. - Evaluate AI maturity across strategy, data, technology, security, governance, and organizational dimensions. - Develop business cases and value realization models for AI investments. c. Technology M&A and Transaction Advisory - Lead Technology Due Diligence (Buy-side and Sell-side) engagements. - Assess application landscapes, infrastructure environments, cybersecurity posture, data platforms, AI capabilities, and technology operating models. - Support carve-outs, separations, integrations, TSA planning, Day-1 readiness, and target-state technology design. - Evaluate synergies, dis-synergies, one-time costs, and value creation opportunities. - Identify transaction risks, business continuity challenges, and technology integration dependencies. - Develop executive-level reports and recommendations for investors, corporate development teams, and private equity clients. d. Sector Focus – Industrials & AMI - Advise clients within Manufacturing, Industrial Products, Process Industries, Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Logistics, and Engineering sectors. - Assess Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, IoT, OT/IT convergence, predictive maintenance, digital supply chain, and connected asset initiatives. - Evaluate technology platforms supporting manufacturing operations, engineering systems, maintenance, and operational excellence. - Expert in industrial application ecosystems including ERP, MES, SCADA, PLM, CMMS, WMS, and enterprise data platforms. e. Engagement & Team Leadership - Manage project teams and day-to-day delivery across multiple workstreams. - Lead client workshops, interviews, steering committees, and executive presentations. - Coach and develop senior consultants and consultants. - Drive proposal development, thought leadership, and business development activities. - Contribute to practice growth through relationship building and sector expertise development.

  • 5+ years of experience in Technology Consulting, Digital Transformation, Tech M&A
