This is a fantastic and unique opportunity to influence the APAC FSO (Financial Services Organisation) Talent Attraction and Acquisition (TA²) strategy across 11 markets.  With hands-on recruitment activity delivered by the local teams in each market, this individual contributor role is focused on consulting with business leaders to set and execute strategic priorities for the FSO TA at APAC level, leading cross-border projects, creating a community of TA professionals and collaborating with market TA leaders to ensure the FSO strategic priorities can be realized. 

 

The opportunity


You will collaborate with local countries across APAC to deliver a consistently high-quality service to the business and to candidates across Campus, Experienced and Executive hire. You will work closely with the business to establish clear TA objectives in line with FSO’s workforce strategy and help the business achieve a desirable outcome.  

 

Building a strong network with local TA2 teams, you will create a sense of community, connection and understanding of the EY and FSO business and brand, encouraging knowledge-sharing of best practice across all markets and collaborate to drive improvements to programs/approaches. 

 

You will be a senior member of the FSO Talent team, working closely with FSO Talent Enablement, Talent Consultants, local TA² teams, global TA² teams, and will manage stakeholder relationships including the FSO Regional Managing Partner, FSO Service Line leaders and Regional leadership team.
 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Planning
    • Understand the workforce strategy, Diversity and Inclusion priorities and targets, and market conditions to inform TA2 objectives with service line leaders and market segment leaders
    • Partner with market TA² leaders to set FSO TA2 strategies and performance metrics for all service lines/sectors and markets across FSO Region 

 

  • Sourcing and attraction
    • Work with market TA leaders and Executive Recruitment team on attraction and sourcing strategies for FSO, ensuring effective support and mechanisms are in place
    • Ensure diversity and equity goals are met, the candidate experience is excellent and that we achieve our hiring goals

 

  • Employer Brand
    • Maintain understanding of and leverage EY’s global Employer Brand, applying for most impact regionally, in each market segment and with each candidate pool
    • Leverage global and local activities, aligning with market strategies and tailoring as required to attract right talent for FSO
    • Engage with local TA and Employer Brand teams on curation of employer branding materials/advertising, ensuring priorities are included and recognised in market segment campaign and collateral
    • Champion employer brand efforts, build brand fluency and establish a TA2 marketing mindset in the business

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Exceptional consulting, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Experience of defining, monitoring and measuring TA strategy across multiple countries and business units/service lines 
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in TA, sourcing and employer branding 
  • Knowledge of different countries employment legislation, policies and procedures
     

To qualify for the role you must have

 

  • Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Human Resources or business-related disciplines
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and set a direction in that context
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels
  • Strong client focus with the ability to build good relationships and work virtually/ across borders
  • Skilled and experienced in leading and influencing change in a matrix structure
