Leveraging EY’s proven methodologies and multi-disciplinary expertise you will play a leading role as a Technical Project Manager, supporting clients and EY teams to deliver complex transformation initiatives that drive sustainable, long-term success which enhances operational efficiency, customer experience and business agility.

Your key responsibilities

At EY, working in a team means coordinating with other team members to deliver a seamless, integrated approach. As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of technology-driven initiatives, ensuring strong governance, technical alignment and successful execution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Project Delivery and Technical Execution
  • Manage the full lifecycle delivery of technology/IT projects and programs, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget and quality expectations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, developers, vendors and infrastructure teams
  • Structure project plans that ensure technical feasibility and alignment
  • Track progress against milestones, manage dependencies and ensure timely resolution of blockers
  • Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies and reporting standards.

• Oversight and Coordination
  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered
  • Support the planning and coordination of environments, deployments and testing cycles
  • Identify and monitor risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation and escalation
  • Oversee third-party deliverables to ensure alignment with agreements and objectives

• Governance and Stakeholder Management
  • Establish and manage project governance structures, including reporting routines, decision making frameworks and change control structures
  • Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring clarity, transparency and alignment across all levels

• Delivery Excellence
  • Develop and maintain high-quality artefacts including Project Plans, RAID logs, status reports, backlogs, and executive updates
  • Promote best practices in project delivery, quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Leverage tools and platforms to enhance tracking, collaboration and reporting

Across engagements, you will be expected to:

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality project outcomes through strong project management discipline
• Demonstrate technical awareness and understanding of IT delivery environments
• Actively support and facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies, processes and ways of working
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, teamwork, and integrity in client and internal interactions
• Support business development activities, including proposal development and solution shaping
• Continuously build knowledge of emerging technologies, delivery methodologies, and industry practices

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Hands-on experience managing IT/technology projects across the full delivery lifecycle
• Strong understanding of software delivery, system implementation, and IT environments
• Ability to bridge business and technology stakeholders effectively
• Strong project management skills, including planning, dependency management and risk control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in IT project delivery, system implementations, digital transformation or platform-based solutions (e.g., ERP, CRM, workflow platforms)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• A Master’s degree or relevant certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications such as SAFe® certifications) would be considered an asset
